"With love and patience, nothing is impossible."
Daisaku Ikeda
Love and patience are key when raising 5 kids 11 and younger. Patience can be hard when you are tired, but it is always worth it! I woke up early today so that I could get a few things done before my kids woke up and managed to photograph our sweet 9 year old while she was asleep. What you may not see is that she sleeps with my teddy bear from when I was little "scruffy". And her hair.. oh.. braiding her hair in the morning makes my heart smile. She hasn't always wanted me to do her hair. This girl of ours is so strong and independent. I have given her the room to grow and be herself and she has come right back and wants more "mommy time".
"The greatest pleasure in life is doing what people say you cannot do"
Walter Bagehot
How do you run a business and have 5 kids? I get asked that a lot. Well, I pray. A lot. Each day. All day long. I am thankful. I have learned to ask for help. And we have slowed down our lives so that we can enjoy our time as a family. I always wanted a big family, ever since I was small. So.. I can because He can. And enjoying our Everyday Blessings of our time together is so important! Each day is different. Some days are much harder to balance work and life.
"I can do all this through him who gives me strength"

"Faith is the daring of the soul to go farther than it can see."
William Newton Clarke
Our kids were gifted an Xbox One from their Nana for Christmas and they don't get to use it too often, but when they do, they have so much fun together! I love seeing Grant's hands, pretty soon they are going to be even bigger than mine!
And that cookie that Henry was enjoying, a yummy snickerdoodle. Other than Kristina's peanut butter cookies, there isn't a cookie that I love more!
